Our circular walk (see Google Map) was about 8 miles from Medbourne through Nevill Holt to Hallaton then back near Slawston. The going was undulating, with 180 degree views

Again we were delighted at how much agricultural land, especially horse and sheep grazing you can find untouched by modern building and roads. We saw no more than a dozen cars the whole day.

So Leicestershire is a forgotten shire, and one that deserves more attention by walkers!
