Colonel Potter Here is chapter 3 of the murder mystery. There are ten chapters, so perhaps you could ask 9 friends to write a chapter each - or two friends and yourself writing three chapters each. Of course you could copy each chapter and e-mail it to a friend or just send them a message saying where this web page is and ask them to join in. In the end you will have a ten chapter murder mystery and should be able to work out who did it. Answers in next week's lesson, lesson 7. Here is the start of the chapter 3. Copy it to the same file as chapter 1. Continue writing the chapter after the three dots ... using the words in italics as suggestions 3. Even the men leaving the pub at 11pm have their heads down against the wind. No-one sees a dark raincoated figure standing motionless beneath a wildly waving tree... (the
figure stands for several minutes looking up at the house then is gone.
Branches fall off the tree, gutters fill with leaves and water, a loud
crack fills the air. What was the noise? Who was the man? What was he
doing?)
Copy each chapter into the same file and keep them in the right order.
