Colonel Potter Here is chapter 10 of the murder mystery. There are ten chapters, so perhaps you could ask 9 friends to write a chapter each - or two friends and yourself writing three chapters each. Of course you could copy each chapter and e-mail it to a friend or just send them a message saying where this web page is and ask them to join in. In the end you will have a ten chapter murder mystery and should be able to work out who did it. Answers in next week's lesson, lesson 7. Here is the start of the chapter 10 plus the final solution. Copy it to the same file as chapter 1. Continue writing the chapter using the words in italics as suggestions 10. Now Mrs Clark climbs the stair, making a lot of noise so she does not surprise him. At the top she looks towards his bedroom and notices a light. Looking through the gap she sees him apparently asleep in bed. Shaking him gently she cannot wake him. His head slumps to one side. She screams! (What does she do now? What happens next?) The police arrive, bringing with them their star Detective, Chief Superintendent Grey. He talks to all the people who have passed the house in the twelve hours from 11am to 11pm and writes reports about their statements. For some time he is puzzled, but reading the reports through again he sees the connection. In a flash he realises who the culprit is and within minutes has solved the case. (Who did it? What did the detective see? What did he see?)
Copy each chapter into the same file and keep them in the right order.
