Colonel Potter Here is chapter 9 of the murder mystery. There are ten chapters, so perhaps you could ask 9 friends to write a chapter each - or two friends and yourself writing three chapters each. Of course you could copy each chapter and e-mail it to a friend or just send them a message saying where this web page is and ask them to join in. In the end you will have a ten chapter murder mystery and should be able to work out who did it. Answers in next week's lesson, lesson 7. Here is the start of the chapter 9. Copy it to the same file as chapter 1. Continue writing the chapter after the three dots ... using the words in italics as suggestions 9. Again Mrs Clark knocks on Colonel Potter's door and finally drops her cleaning materials and walks back home to get her spare keys to open the door. As she returns she looks up at the bedroom window and notices the curtains are drawn. She opens the door and starts tidying up - the whisky glass, plates, milk, making enough noise to wake the Colonel. But no-one stirs... (Is she worried? Does she suspect anything? Does she go for help? Does she see the gun in his study? Is a window broken? Does she see the footmarks outside on the grass?)
Copy each chapter into the same file and keep them in the right order.
