Internal Assessment
Candidates
produce a folder (guideline 1500-2000 words) containing original
writing in two different modes chosen by the candidate.
The writing
(creative, recreative or adaptive) will be accompanied by a commentary,
evaluating the work undertaken and the differences in linguistic
features between the pieces. more

Exploring,
Analysing and Evaluating English
(Synoptic)
Candidates
must answer Section A and Section B, each of which
will contain one compulsory question.
A selection
of linked passage-based material will be provided, which will form
the source material for both sections. 15 minutes will be allowed
for initial reading, before the question paper is issued. more
