Bollywood spreads Queen's Hinglish This was the title of an article in The Times of April 26th 2004. The article suggested that a hybrid Indian English had been developed by the film industry in "Bollywood" in order to appeal to young Indian people living abroad. This hybrid could affect general English, claimed unnamed "experts." Examples offered were:
